Design Build Structures Locates in Peosta 
Peosta, Iowa is located 10 minutes west of Dubuque along Highway 20. The community of nearly 1,300 is home to Peosta Warehousing & Logistics. With over 1.5 million sq.ft. of dry storage and food grade warehousing space, Peosta Warehousing & Logistics has found a niche in the distribution industry for local, national and international companies. Peosta Warehousing, owned by A.J. Spiegel, a major business developer and entrepreneur in the Peosta area. Mr. Spiegel recently launched a new 160 acre industrial park on the east-side of the community and has successfully located a manufacturing operation to the new park. Design Build Structures, a subsidiary of Cedar Valley Steel, has located a metal fabrication project in the East Peosta Industrial Park. The company has built a 30,000 sq.ft. tilt-up concrete facility to accommodate their design and engineering offices. Design Build Structures manufactures various sized steel I-beam support structures and other components for industrial buildings. President, Craig Breitbach said, “we build the “skeleton” that holds the buildings up.” The new Peosta project employs 30 people and is supplied power by Maquoketa Valley Electric Cooperative.
