Bison Renewable Energy Under Construction Bison Renewable Energy is a Minneapolis based company that is building a bio-gas regional anaerobic digester or “BRAD”. The project is called the Cornerstone BRAD as it is the first of its kind in the U.S. and one of the largest in the world. The project is expected to be completed this fall and will take animal and organic waste such as animal fat and convert it to methane gas. The facility will employ approximately 40 people and is currently under construction and located in northern Sioux County near Hull and Rock Valley. North West REC will provide power to the Bison Renewable Energy project.
