Venture Award Recipient in 1998
Nominated by Pella Cooperative Electric Association

Co-Line Welding, Inc. started as a welding and repair shop over 25 years ago on a farm south of Sully in Mahaska County.  Today Co-Line now fabricates metal parts for Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, and Mitsubishi, as well as manufacturing a heavy-duty latch for farm gates, which is distributed internationally.  They have grown from the original 4,000 sq. ft. facility to more than 200,000 sq. ft. and employ nearly 100 people.  Within the past few years, Co-Line acquired the Goal Setter Goal basketball Hoop System and built another 80,000 sq.ft. facility for that product line.
