Dykstra Dairy has operated dairy farms in Chino, California for over 30 years.  In 2002 the family farm found northwest Iowa to be an excellent place for expanding their dairy operation from California. Construction was completed on a dairy site in Plymouth County that milks up to 3,500 head. The buildings on the site cover 453,000 sq. ft. or approximately 10.5 acres.  The entire site with a milking parlor, feed storage, other buildings and lagoons required 70 acres.
