Al’s Corner Oil is celebrating their 80th anniversary in 2017. Today, Sparky’s One Stop is a family business that has thrived in west central Iowa as a result of the Tiefenthaler’s family dedication to serving the region’s small communities through their convenience store brand. They now have a total of 28 locations, including the original Al’s Corner, providing gas/diesel pumps, convenience store products, and in many cases, fresh Godfather’s Pizza and Chester’s Chicken. The newest Sparky’s One Stop is located at the corner of Highways 4 and 20 near Rockwell City.
