Hawkeye Pride Egg Farm is located southeast of Corwith in Hancock County. When the project reaches completion the site will consist of 10 poultry buildings containing 6.2 million birds with egg production output of approximately 5 million eggs per day. The site currently has three layer buildings complete with a feed mill, processing plants for inline grading and breaking, and refrigerated storage facilities. When completed, the complex will employ up to 80 people in the region. The $90 million project has spurred local growth with the company’s main office being located in downtown Corwith. Additional projects and improvements have also developed in the Corwith community due to the Hawkeye Pride project.
